I was thinking tonight, when I wrote you that email after the first lesson and said you changed my life, I had no idea how huge that change would be. I made a list of all the songs I've done at karaoke and I've sang probably around 170 times and over 120 different songs. And I feel a good portion of those I did fairly well (I definitely have more trouble with ballads).
I cannot say how thankful I am that you didn't let me give up before I started. I have met so many wonderful friends and people doing karaoke. And it has definitely furthered my primary goal of people seeing and knowing more trans people and seeing that we are okay. I've had quite a few people tell me thanks for being myself and being out there. I believe that when you changed my life, you changed other's lives as well.
